Russia struck the home of a large family in the Sumy region: a 13-year-old boy was among the dead.

In addition, some family members were injured.

Russian occupiers launched a drone strike on the home of a large family in the Znob-Novgorod community of the Shostka district of the Sumy region. The Sumy Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported this on Facebook .

The attack reportedly killed a 13-year-old boy, his 36-year-old father, and his 73-year-old grandmother. Other family members were also injured, including the boy’s 31-year-old mother, his 10-year-old brother, and his 13-year-old sister.

“Prosecutors, in collaboration with other law enforcement agencies, are documenting the aftermath of the attack. Under the procedural guidance of the Sumy Regional Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into the commission of war crimes resulting in the deaths of people (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine),” the prosecutor’s office added.
