In Kyiv, State Emergency Service workers extinguished fires in the Obolonsky and Darnytsky districts that erupted as a result of nighttime Russian shelling .
In the Obolonsky district, in particular, the attack damaged a business center housing TV channel offices.
According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, the clearing of rubble and emergency structures is currently underway at the fire sites. The agency added that one person was killed and three were injured in the enemy attack on the capital.
As reported on the FREEDOM channel , the premises of the FREEDOM, “Dim” TV channels, the editorial offices of UATV (English, Spanish, Arabic, Portuguese), The Gaze, as well as the digital department and technical services were damaged as a result of the attack on the business center in the Obolon district.
They added that there were no employees in the building at the time of the attack, so no one was injured.
At the same time, the Ministry of Defense of the aggressor state made a cynical statement that a “group strike with high-precision long-range air and sea-based weapons, as well as unmanned aerial vehicles, was carried out on the central artillery base of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as enterprises of the defense-industrial complex involved in the production of UAVs.”

Russian shelling on April 6: what is known
As UNIAN previously reported, Russia launched more than 20 missiles and a hundred UAVs over Ukraine at night. Kyiv was hit, there was extensive destruction and fires in the capital, there are dead and wounded.
