Two people are currently known to have died.

Russian military forces struck a market in the town of Lozova in the Kharkiv region , killing and wounding several people. This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv OVA, Oleg Synegubov.

“The occupiers struck the market in Lozova. At this moment, according to preliminary data, two people are known to have died and 11 injured,” he said.

According to the official, doctors, units of the State Emergency Service, and law enforcement officers are working at the scene.

Later, Sinegubov added that the number of people injured in the enemy strike had increased to 17. All are being assisted by medical teams.

The hostile attack on the city was confirmed by Lozova Mayor Serhiy Zelensky.

“The Lozov community is under enemy attack. The threat persists,” the mayor wrote on Facebook.
