Andrew Marr speaks to Anti-Corruption Campaigner and Head of Global Magnitsky Justice Campaign Bill Browder and LBC’s Natasha Clark about the US envoy to Russia Steve Witkoff’s ‘vile’ statement about Putin being ‘a humanitarian’.
Putin was hosting US special envoy Steve Witkoff on Wednesday, after the US-Russia diesel export deal led to a sharp deterioration in ties between the United States and Ukraine.
Putin also offered to help US President Donald Trump in dealing with Iran, saying Russia had a decades-long relationship with Tehran which it has repeatedly offered to leverage to address US concerns about Iran’s nuclear programme.
Russia could also supply large quantities of fertiliser to the United States to help US farmers, the Russian president told Witkoff, saying he wanted to discuss a potential meeting in China next month with Trump which the Kremlin has suggested could also include Chinese President Xi Jinping.

Sir Bill :
“Shocking beyond belief.”
Kremlin West.
There is nothing in the history of the U.S. to compare with this foul piece of putinoid scum. Even worse : like his idol putler, he has surrounded himself with fascist vermin in his own image to protect his cancerous legacy.
Work has already commenced on a Krasnov Tower in Tbilisi, which has a dynamic economy.
Tbilisi’s pro-putler dictatorship is delighted with this.
“Corruption in plain sight.”
Exactly.
Criminal and evil.
America surrenderd to Russia without any fight.
What a terrible, amoral, and evil administration we have. I am so deeply ashamed and terribly angry!
