The war in Ukraine matters to Russia’s overall ability to pose any threat to any NATO member, he said.

Russia involved in the war in Ukraine 80% of its ground forces.
This was stated by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg at a press conference with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken in Brussels.
“Now more than 80% of the Russian ground forces are involved in the war in Ukraine. So, of course, what happens there matters to the overall ability of Russia to pose any threat to any NATO member. So, my first message to the members of the alliance is in that we welcome the unprecedented support, we are calling for even more support, and we are calling on them to explore the reserves deeper in order to continue to provide Ukraine with what it immediately needs,” Stoltenberg stressed.
According to him, the allies must be prepared for the long term and therefore the Alliance is in contact with the defense industrial complexes of the member countries.
“We have established structures here at NATO in terms of defense planning, capabilities to ensure that we are now ramping up production, we are restocking to be able to continue to support Ukraine, but it is not only support for Ukraine – it is also ensuring that we had weapons, ammunition, means for our own deterrence and defense,” Stoltenberg summed up.
Recall that he also said that Ukraine would cease to exist if the Ukrainians stop resisting the Russian Federation .
