Russia requested a meeting of the UN Security Council in connection with the “monstrous provocation of Ukrainian radicals in Bucha”

Russia asks to hold a meeting of the UN Security Council on April 4 “in connection with the monstrous provocation of Ukrainian radicals in Bucha.” This was reported by Interfax with reference to Dmitry Polyansky, Deputy Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN.

The Ukrainian authorities accuse the Russian military of killing civilians in the Kiev region, including in the city of Bucha. The bodies of the dead were found after the departure of the Russian military from the region, which controlled it for several weeks. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation called numerous photo and video evidence of these murders a “provocation” and a “staging.”

  1. That’s one way to put it. Next: Putin the shirtless will drive to Bucha with his motorbike gang and speak to the locals to prove the people killed themselves with their hands tied…

  2. Staging? Yeah, technically it’s possible to stage realistic pics of dead people but some proof of this wouldn’t be to much to ask in that case i think.

  3. Well, that’s a typical tactic from the old soviet days. Whatever evil the communists committed “for the people,” whether it was stealing from the people or murdering them, it was always blamed on whoever resisted the regime. Sometimes even blamed on those who actually helped the regime too, only to get stabbed in the back by their “comrades.”

They may make a fuss about “redistributing” power or resources, but no matter what, some few are going to control it. The question is who’s more trustworthy, the reluctance of one who bears the weapon with a light hand, or the one who seizes it by force and fury.

    • Putin seems to have maintained the Soviet tradition of screaming at world about the evils of capitalists, all the while doing the very thing he was accusing the west of.

  4. I’m positively certain that not even China or North Korea or Syria or any of the other trash countries on this globe believe a single word from the cockroaches. Nobody can fake something like what happened in Bucha. Not on this scale. Luckily, Human Rights Watch was already at the scene and so was a reported from AFP. More personal from various organizations will certainly look into this in the coming days. Organizations that are or will be investigating; Task Force on Accountability for Crimes Committed in Ukraine, International Commission of Inquiry on Ukraine, and UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine. Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba also called on other international groups to collect evidence.
No siree … mafia land cannot get away with this disgusting crime.
