Russia continues to refuse the unconditional ceasefire proposed by Ukraine.

This was announced by  First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Serhiy Kyslytsia during a briefing following the talks in Istanbul, which took place on June 2,   Censor.NET reports.

Kyslytsia also said that the Russian Federation opposed the presence of an American delegation at the negotiations.

Recall that on June 2, 2025, negotiations between Ukraine and Russia took place in Istanbul. They lasted more than an hour .

Minister of Defense and head of the Ukrainian delegation in Istanbul Rustem Umerov reported that during the second round of negotiations in Istanbul on June 2, Ukraine and Russia agreed on new prisoner exchanges in the “all-for-all” format in the following categories: seriously wounded and seriously ill, and young people aged 18 to 25.
