Experts believe that payment issues are currently the most burdensome for the Russian economy.

Russia is asking businesses to answer which sanctions Moscow should seek to lift before negotiations with Washington. This was reported by Reuters , citing Russian sources .

Two sources in Russian industry reported that the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade asked companies to propose which sanctions should be lifted first.

One of the sources noted that the department is distributing a special form to fill out, which asks which sanctions have had the greatest impact on business and which restrictions are the most sensitive.

Russia’s Ministry of Industry and Trade did not respond to Reuters’ request for comment.

The publication spoke with business representatives, lawyers and economists. Most of those surveyed noted that payment issues are the most burdensome for the Russian Federation, although some sources also focused on energy sanctions, in particular restrictions on the Russian fleet of oil tankers.

According to some experts, the most likely scenario in the near future is the easing of secondary sanctions that target companies in third countries, which will allow Russia to bypass Western restrictions.
