Russia must be destroyed

Cemil Kerimoglu

From Baltic to the Black Sea

Many people in the West, including those firmly supporting Ukraine, view Russian threat too simplistically – they concentrate solely on Russia’s perceived ability or willingness to attack militarily.

However the Russian curse goes beyond that. It is much deeper. Even if Russia doesn’t physically invade anyone anymore, it will still remain a threat and the deadly nemesis of Western Civilization. Because Russia undermines Western societies from within. It infiltrates, demoralizes, confuses. Russian narratives blur the lines between truth and falsehood, between good and evil; they promote nihilism, defeatism and make you doubt your stance even in the most morally unequivocal cases – “not everything is so clear-cut”, “things are more nuanced”, “you should not believe what you see/hear/read” etc… Moreover, they make you indulge in what generally can be called the “sin of sloth” – i.e., not only physical, but rather spiritual apathy, borne out of belief that the world is lost and there is no point in trying anything.

The sole existence of Russia is an act of terror. The sole existence of Russia and the typically Russian way of thinking it spreads to the West is a grave danger that will continue undermining our societies. By their nature, Russians do not experience a dissonance between obvious truth and glaring falsehood. They do not experience strong moral indignation in the face of obvious evil. In their psyche everything is equivalent: truth and falsehood, good and evil, victim and perpetrator…

That’s why they are masters of contriving even the most asinine narratives – like 1+1=3456, “Ukrainians bombed Donbas”, “Russia did not attack anyone”, “Bucha massacres were carried out by Ukrainian Nazis” etc., and what is worse, able to convince a significant number of people of those narratives. If you are not repulsed by obvious falsehoods, then you come to believe those lies yourself. And the best way to convince others of your lies is to believe them yourself.

The whole Russian society is based on lies and indifference to truth. A Russian may lie to you not necessarily because he wants to take advantage of you, but just for the sake of it. Because he feels like it. Because he is not naturally repulsed by the lie he is telling. That’s how Russian society at large operates.

Therefore Russia must be destroyed. Completely. It must be deprived of its ability not only to launch invasions, but also to spread its narratives to the West – the narratives that are borne out of innately Russian way of thinking.

    • The orange (funny coincidence!) box analogy is very telling isn’t it?!

The author was was right not to include Georgia in it though, because Georgians hate ruZZia as much as Ukrainians do.
However, they were the victim of a very sly con trick. “Georgia Dream” gave no inkling that it was a nightmare for almost 10 years. It supported Ukraine, Nato and EU integration. Only when the putler genocide began did it show its true colours:
It became an enemy of Ukraine, the EU and US overnight. Its rulers started licking putler’s shriveled balls as well as those of Iran and China.
It is now making overtures to the US of Krasnovia because it senses a kindred spirit.
The protests have not stopped, but Georgia has no democratic friends. (It had close to zero before, but let that pass).

Now Georgians think that they had better vote for “Georgian Nightmare” because if they don’t, a horde of vermin will destroy them.
Tragically they may well be right ……

      • A horde of vermin attacked us in 2014 but didn’t stop our brave heroes. I know you love Georgia, Sir Scradgel, but perhaps it’s time to face a reality. I don’t mean any offense just sharing my thoughts.

        • We have had this conversation before. You are again implying that Georgians somehow lack courage. Let me correct you again :

Georgia is a very small country. It has been invaded, occupied and suffered terror and torture beyond imagination for more than two thousand years. Culprits : Persia/Iran, Turkey and of course ruZZia. It is surrounded by evil.

It is a miracle from God that they kept their culture and unique dna intact for so long.

Read the story of Saint Nino or the Mtsvane Monastery to see the ancient horrors inflicted upon Georgia.

Read about the ethnic cleansing of Georgians in Abkhazia 1992-93. Horror and genocide inflicted by ruZZia on Georgians, who fought desperately against hopeless odds with no outside help whatsoever.

The survivors of that genocide live in special villages constructed outside Gori and Tbilisi by Saakash.

For a more modern update, see the film Five Days of War, made in 2011 about the 2008 invasion. It is highly accurate and was made by a very good director: Renny Harlin.

Again I have to remind you that by far the biggest contingent of volunteers in the ZSU since 2014 comes from Georgia. Most were incorporated into the regular ZSU, but there is still the Georgian Legion, led by Mamouk Mamulashvili since 2014. One of the best fighting units, it today is supplemented by British army veterans.

Mamouk and his dad before him have been fighting ruZZian scum for 33 years non stop.

Georgia has no friends, no suppliers of modern weapons, no nothing. Its airforce consists of a few old SU 25’s. Its army and police are fully under control of the govt since 2012, when it was totally purged of Saakashvili supporters.
The population of Georgia is not armed. There is nothing whatsoever that they can do to get rid of ivanishvili/putler except peaceful protest and each day, protesters are taken away, beaten and their families threatened with losing their pensions and/or death.

      • It’s a shame that Georgia is not supported more by the West. I mean more the opposition. The current government should be punished in any possible way.

        • For additional insight into Georgia’s extremely precarious position, please could you peruse my reply to Cap on this page?

          • Yes, scradge, I have. I knew many of those details already from your previous statements about Georgia’s plights. And, I am fully aware that news about Georgia is almost nonexistent in Western media. That makes you into a valuable source of info about Georgia.
