But implementing this plan may face a number of problems, experts say

NATO intelligence services have long been monitoring the Russian ship “Zirochka”, which Moscow may use to place nuclear missiles on the seabed.
This is reported by Tagesschau . It is noted that this Russian ship is located in the White Sea, which is located in the north near the border with Finland.
Over the past few months of research, experts have discovered that the Russian Federation has likely been working for years to deploy ballistic missiles in the ocean, using previously unknown methods.
According to media reports, the project has been dubbed “Skif” in Russia. And this, analysts say, could pose a significant challenge to NATO in the event of war, as launchers hidden on the seabed would be extremely difficult to detect and hit.
Lack of official information
It is noted that neither NATO nor the Russian Federation has officially commented on the Skif project. At the same time, Helge Adrians, a German naval officer with NATO, stated that such a project could be implemented in particular to reduce Russia’s dependence on very complex and expensive platforms, such as submarines or large cruisers.
“Placing and maintaining intercontinental ballistic missiles on the seabed has two key advantages. First, their neutralization seems very expensive. Second, this method makes it possible to save on submarines and their personnel. Russia could achieve the same effect with relatively little effort and expense, for which it currently needs manned submarines,” he noted.

Am I missing something or is placing a nuke in a frozen sea a bad idea?
Better place the nuke under his ass. 💥
