Over the past day, the occupying Russian army lost 1,650 soldiers in the war in Ukraine. Ukrainian defenders also destroyed 14 Russian tanks and 22 artillery systems

Ukraine’s General Staff reported the information. 

Russia’s total combat losses from February 24, 2022, to December 27, 2024, are approximately:

• personnel – about 782,510 (+1,650),
• tanks – 9,644 (+14),
• armored fighting vehicles – 19,951 (+18),
• artillery systems – 21,379 (+22),
• MLRS – 1,256 (+0),
• air defense systems – 1,032 (+1),
• aircraft – 369 (+0),
• helicopters – 329 (+0),
• UAVs of operational and tactical level – 20,999 (+28),
• cruise missiles – 3,003 (+0),
• ships/boats – 28 (+0),
• submarines – 1 (+0),
• vehicles and fuel tanks – 32,262 (+82),
• special equipment – 3,668 (+1).

The General Staff added that the data is being updated.
