๐ค Ukrainians are being beaten and deported if they don’t become Russian in Russia-occupied territories.
โ๏ธ This is how Russia ‘liberates’ people – with ๐๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฌ, grenades and threats of ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ซ๐๐๐ซ. With deportations and taking parents from children, just to force them to change passports.
โ Russia is replaying the 3rd Reich playbook. During WWII Germany was forcing occupied people of German ancestry to assume Volksdeutsche status or else.
โ๏ธ Volksdeutsche had perks unavailable to the rest, like enough food to survive, but were subject to conscription.
Which is exactly Moscow’s plan: to conscript the men of occupied regions of #Ukraine by force, and use them to wage more war.
Enslaving one people to invade and enslave another. Classic imperialism.
๐ฌ Note how in this oath they are forced to take, citizens have to promise to fulfill their duties as a citizen to the state first. Before #society
And what are our great democracies doing about it?

ANOTHER GREAT POST FROM MARKUS:
โSEND IN THE SHEEPโ
๐ A soldier of #Poland fighting for #Ukraine describes Russian assault tactics.
Their first line is never expected to survive.
It’s the cynicism of the Russian army laid bare
“There’s usually one experienced soldier sent with them to command. That good soldier will get half way and retreat. The others will perish.”
๐ Russians are using their own soldiers quite literally as cannon fodder, to scout enemy firing positions, and then aim artillery strikes.
“That first, hopelessly ill equipped wave, They only carry 4 magazines. Enough for 3 minutes of combat.” the soldier tells, speaking from experience.
“Why are the russians doing it?”
๐ค The #interview asks, wondering why Mopbiks would advance with barely any ammunition and often without armor.
“Because behind them stands a good, well equipped soldier.”
โ๏ธ The soldier replies.
His name is Piotr Mitkiewicz.
And he knows to #StandWithUkraine ๐บ๐ฆ
โ Russia sees their own soldiers as numbers, does not treat them humanely, and will sacrifice any number of their own just to inflict damage on the enemy.
It’s the same tactics over and over, since Soviet times. This is why Russia must lose, now.
Or else they’ll try the same again later,
Attacking other parts of #Europe

This echoes what I heard during over four decades of military service. – the ‘sheep’ find the traps and built-up positions. Individuals who survive are advanced in the ranks – the ‘sheep’ carry limited munitions, so that experienced troops can have more. The sheep are expected to scavenge from the dead comrades or the enemy – the ‘sheep’ are recruited from regions which Russian leaders want to thin the population. This helps control the regional population by reducing individuals who might fight against the central government
