Russia hits Turkish ship near Odessa region: fire breaks out, there are injuries (photo)

Two crew members were taken to a medical facility.

At night, Russia purposefully attacked a Turkish ship with a drone that was heading from the port of Odessa to Turkey, according to the Ukrainian Navy.

It is noted that the dry cargo ship ANT was attacked, which was sailing from one of the ports of the Odessa region to Turkey with cargo on board under the flag of Vanuatu (ship-owning country Turkey).

A fire broke out as a result of hitting the ship’s superstructure, but units of the Maritime Search and Rescue Service and the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine managed to quickly localize it.

At the same time, two crew members were injured as a result of the strike; they were promptly evacuated by Ukrainian Navy boats and taken to a medical facility.
