Today, Russians used ballistic missiles to strike the office of the Swiss Foundation for Mine Action FSD in Kharkiv region . This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleg Sinegubov.

“The Russians attacked the office of a humantarian organization that demined the territory of the Kharkiv region. Today at 5 a.m., the Russians hit the office of the Swiss Foundation for Mine Action FSD with a ballistic missile,” he wrote on Telegram.

According to Sinegubov, the façade and ceilings on several floors of the building were destroyed as a result of the hit. Six vehicles used by the organization’s medics were also damaged.

The Chairman of the OVA emphasized that the Kharkiv region is one of the regions most contaminated with explosive objects, therefore the activities of such organizations and the development of the humanitarian demining sector are critically important for the safety of people and the functioning of the private sector.

“We are constantly working to attract as many initiatives, assistance – anything that would speed up the cleanup of the territory. However, the Russians have once again shown their real attitude towards our civilians – by firing at those who are engaged in a humanitarian mission,” Sinegubov emphasized.

Attack on Kharkiv region on July 24 – what is known
