Russia Attacks Kramatorsk: One Dead, Many Wounded

Among the wounded were four children.

At least one person was killed and 16 were wounded in Kramatorsk as a result of massive Russian shelling, the head of the regional military administration Vadim Filashkin reported .

He noted that among the wounded were four children born in 2007, 2016, 2017 and 2022.

“There are probably still people under the rubble of the building – the search and rescue operation is ongoing,” the head of the regional state administration emphasized.

He noted that he once again calls on all civilians to evacuate to safer regions of Ukraine. Evacuation saves lives!

According to the National Police , the Russians struck the private sector of the city of Kramatorsk at around 14:20. As a result of the attack, at least 17 private houses were damaged.

As UNIAN reported, as a result of massive enemy shelling of Kramatorsk on January 30, an 8-year-old boy and a 7-year-old girl were wounded. In total, at least 13 civilians were reported wounded. According to law enforcement, the Russians struck the city with a Tornado-S MLRS. As a result of the attack, at least three apartment buildings in the center of Kramatorsk were damaged.

According to the information of the first deputy chairman of the Donetsk Regional State Administration Yuriy Vinokurov, there are currently 300 thousand civilians in the Donetsk region, including 22,347 children. According to him, practically all children have been taken out of all frontline territories by means of mandatory evacuation.
