Russia attacked Odessa: a public transport stop was hit, there are injuries

The Russian occupation army launched a drone strike on Odessa on the morning of June 8 , as a result of which a public transport stop in the Kyivskyi district was hit, a minibus driver and two women who were waiting for transport were injured. As UNIAN was informed by the spokeswoman for the Odessa Regional Prosecutor’s Office, Inna Verba, this morning the Russians attacked Odessa with strike drones.

“A public transport stop was hit. A 65-year-old woman and a 55-year-old man are in serious condition. The victims are in the hospital. Proceedings have been initiated under Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (war crimes),” Verba said.

According to the head of the Odessa City Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak, the strike occurred at a time when people were waiting for transport. It has now been reported that one more person was injured – a 64-year-old woman, and the injured man is a taxi driver. All three civilians received shrapnel wounds and were taken to a medical facility.

According to eyewitnesses, this happened in the Kyiv district of the city, on Academician Korolev Street.

According to the head of the Odessa OVA, Oleg Kiper, in particular, a woman born in 1961 received multiple shrapnel wounds.

In addition, the enemy attacked the energy infrastructure of the region. In particular, in the south of the Odessa region, the equipment of one of the energy facilities was damaged. Power outages were recorded for over a thousand consumers. Also, in the city of Chornomorsk, a UAV hit a residential building.
