Tankers of the Western Military District of the Russian Federation loaded equipment onto railway platforms and leave the Crimea annexed by Russia after planned exercises.
This was stated in the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
“Servicemen of the tank army units of the Western Military District (ZVO) have completed the loading of tanks and armored tracked vehicles onto railway platforms and have begun to march in a combined way to the points of permanent deployment at a distance of about 1,000 km after the planned exercises,” the report says.
As noted in the RF Ministry of Defense, after arriving at the points of permanent deployment, military equipment will be serviced and prepared for “scheduled combat training activities for the winter training period.”
