Rubio said both sides must make “difficult but necessary concessions.”

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio commented on the US “peace plan” for the war in Ukraine , stating that the US is developing proposals taking into account the positions of both sides.
On his social media account, X, he wrote that ending a “complex and deadly war” like the one in Ukraine requires an exchange of “serious and realistic ideas.”
“And to achieve lasting peace, both sides must make difficult but necessary concessions,” Rubio emphasized.
He added that the US continues to develop a list of possible ideas for ending the war, based on proposals from both sides in the conflict.
The US “peace plan” – the main points
According to media reports, Donald Trump has already approved a 28-point plan to end the war between Russia and Ukraine .
According to media reports, the Ukrainian army is expected to withdraw from the entire Donbas, and the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ numbers and combat readiness will be reduced. Trump’s plan also obligates Russian troops to return some of the territories they captured in the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions.
Journalists note that the plan was developed by Trump’s special representative Steve Witkoff, Vice President J.D. Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and the president’s son-in-law Jared Kushner.

The plan of the pro-Russian government in Washington show zero percent concessions by Russia and 400% by Ukraine. What deal? Its just the copy of his friend Putin.
Go lick a toad Rubio.
A “Lasting Peace” huh? Notice he didn’t add “Just”
I wonder if he actually believes that himself?
What he should say is “This will grant peace in our time.”
That would be more realistic.
Rubio is deeply pathetic. He’s also sitting on a sinking ship.
