The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation has closed most of the Sea of Azov and the airspace above it. The decision is allegedly related to the escalation in the occupied territories of Donetsk and Lugansk regions.

According to the publication, the RF Ministry of Defense issued a NOTAM notice – operational information on changes in the rules for conducting flights and aeronautical information.
It is noted that the ban will be valid from February 21 to February 26. In this case, the reason is not called.
At the same time, the Tsargrad publication reports that the decision may be related to the alleged concentration of the Ukrainian military on the borders of the Russian Federation and on the line of contact with the occupied territories of Donetsk and Lugansk regions.
