Fifteen repeaters of Ukrainian television and radio broadcasts are planned to be installed in the districts of the Odesa region bordering the unrecognized Transnistrian region of Moldova.

According to the head of the regional military administration, eight repeaters have already been installed, the rest will be installed by June 15, after which their adjustment will begin.

“This will make it possible to interrupt the broadcast of Russian channels that broadcast from abroad,” Kyper said.

It should be noted that the problem of Russian broadcasting from Transnistria has been discussed for at least the last ten years, but concrete actions have only been taken now.
