Journalists have published an exclusive photo of Tuareg rebels posing with a Ukrainian flag after they just inflicted a major defeat on Russian state-funded Wagner PMC mercenaries in Mali.

“This photo appears to indicate Tuareg support for Ukraine, which is pursuing Wagner PMC mercenaries across the African continent,” Kyiv Post writes  , citing sources in Ukraine’s defense and security sector.

Andrei Yusov, a spokesman for the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR), said during a national telethon on Monday, July 29, that “the rebels have received the necessary information that allowed them to carry out a successful military operation against Russian war criminals,” adding: “We will not discuss the details now, but this will be further ahead.”
