Ukrainian company Ukrspecsystems has first publicly presented its new RAM-2X strike UAV, featuring an X-shaped wing configuration.
The system was officially unveiled at the international MSPO defense exhibition in Poland, according to Militarnyi.
The RAM-2X loitering munition operates at the operational-tactical level and has a range of up to 180 km. The UAV is designed to engage enemy targets and has an endurance of more than two hours.
The UAV is equipped with a warhead featuring a 2.7 kg or 3.5 kg explosively formed penetrator and supports the integration of artificial intelligence systems. The system features high automation and a flexible communications architecture.
The UAV can operate via multiple radio-frequency communication channels across different bands, as well as through a Starlink terminal. RAM-2X also supports a communications relay function, enabling it to be used with reconnaissance UAVs, including the SHARK-M.
In this configuration, the reconnaissance UAV provides target designation and helps the strike UAV more effectively overcome electronic warfare (EW) systems. In addition, the system is designed for interoperability with the company’s previous-generation platforms.
“Each type of equipment has its own role, and every target requires an appropriate means of engagement. Following a comprehensive approach, we develop strike systems across several subclasses, built around common components, a shared ground control station, and unified software,” the company stated.
This allows operators of Ukrspecsystems reconnaissance complexes to add a strike capability without replacing their existing ground control stations or antennas.
The RAM-2X UAV is actively employed by the Defense Forces of Ukraine; however, the developer had previously remained undisclosed due to security considerations.

According to the manufacturer, RAM-series loitering munitions have now been credited with more than 450 target engagements.
Alongside the unveiling, Ukrspecsystems launched its own public “X-Archive,” featuring declassified footage of Ukrainian forces conducting combat operations. The initial collection includes footage documenting strikes against Russian air defense assets and radar stations.
The company removed all sensitive information that could compromise ongoing combat operations from the released footage. The company plans to publish the declassified strike footage in batches. At the same time, information on current operational sorties and ongoing UAV modifications remains classified.
