The decision was supported by 265 MPs.

The Verkhovna Rada has adopted the revised bill No. 8371 on the ban on the activities of religious organizations on the territory of Ukraine, including those associated with the Russian Federation. This was reported by the People’s Deputy of Ukraine Yaroslav Zheleznyak.

265 people’s deputies voted FOR the adoption of the law. Voted “for” by faction: “Servant of the People” – 173, “ES” – 25, “Batkivshchyna” – 17, “Voice” – 18, the “Platform for Life and Peace” group – 1, “For the Future” – 9, “Dovira” – 11, non-factional – 11.

The law comes into force 30 days after its publication. But except for one point – according to it, the UOC MP communities will have 9 months to sever ties with the ROC.
