Putin’s war to end in ‘months’ as Russia faces economic ‘reckoning’ | Former Russian minister

May 6, 2025

“Russia doesn’t have the money to continue the war into another year under this current level of the oil prices.”

By the end of summer, Putin will have to “stop or significantly reduce” Russia’s war goals or “print money” and spark high inflation, says former deputy Russian energy minister Vladimir Milov.

  1. Any “ceasefire” document that putler agrees to will not be worth anything except toilet paper.
This russian opposition guy is one of the relatively good russians around who are not dead.
He’s critical of putler but doesn’t feel any need to express shame at the evil of the ruling murder gang.
They never do, do they? Not even democratic opposition speakers, sadly.
You’d think they’d all be burning with shame at the depravity of their regime, but we never see any expression of it.
Except for one person : Gary Kasparov, who seems to have gone a bit quiet lately.
