According to officials, so far, diplomatically things are going better in Ukraine, but the situation on the front appears to be worsening.

Many European politicians do not believe that Russia is ready to agree to a ceasefire against Ukraine. Moreover, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin wants to seize Odessa to deprive Ukraine of access to its main port, the Financial Times writes, citing a senior official.
According to him, Putin believes that Odesa is supposedly a “historically Russian city.” The official, speaking to reporters, said that for the Russian leader, capturing this city is the main goal of the war against Ukraine.
Allies must increase support for Ukraine to confront Russia
The publication noted that one of the main achievements of the NATO summit in The Hague is that the Alliance has refocused on deterring Russia. The allies also agreed to increase defense spending, which eases tensions between Europe and the United States.
In addition, US President Donald Trump met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on the sidelines of the NATO summit in The Hague. The publication emphasized that the meeting went well.
But while diplomatically things are improving in Ukraine, the war appears to be getting worse, the publication believes. Some NATO leaders fear that the situation on the front could seriously deteriorate by the fall. That would be far more significant than any paper commitments made in the Alliance’s communiqué last week.
The publication shared that military assessments show that both Russian and Ukrainian armed forces are approaching the point of exhaustion. However, Russia is likely to be able to maintain the current level of operations for another year, while Ukraine could reach the limit of its capabilities within six months if it does not receive significant military support.
In addition, Ukraine is experiencing problems with the number of troops, the publication added. Analysts agree that Russia lost more than a million soldiers killed or wounded during the war. Ukraine’s losses were also heavy.
The publication emphasized that Russia has also stepped up air strikes on Ukraine, which is undermining the fighting spirit of Ukrainians. Without a clear vision of victory over the country, a sense of hopelessness can descend.
Several Western officials have told reporters that Ukraine could lose even more territory without additional military support. They have warned of the risk of “catastrophic failure” if the Ukrainian army is pushed to its limits and does not receive increased military and financial assistance from allies.
Why Putin is dreaming of capturing Odessa
Previously, former employee of the Security Service of Ukraine, military expert Ivan Stupak said that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin is hatching plans to seize Odessa , as he wants to cut off Ukraine from access to the Black Sea. This will also help the Russian leader to more quickly resolve the issue with the Russian enclave – unrecognized Transnistria, which borders the Odessa region.
According to Stupak, Russia will not be able to capture Odessa. He noted that before the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, such a scenario could have been assumed, but now it is a difficult task for the Russians.

Let him do it. The rest of the Empire will bleed ruSSia to death, in a rabid merciless brute way.
Probably past Trump…
In 2008, France and Germany conspired to block Ukraine and Georgia from Nato. Both were run at the time by ruZZian agents.
Since then the number of pro-russia/anti-Ukraine Nato members has increased exponentially; effectively rendering Nato unfit for purpose: Hungary, Slovakia, Spain, Slovenia etc, plus the latest and most consequential pro-russia country: the United States of Krasnovia.
As stated previously ad nauseam, Ukraine cannot survive without Odesa and Mykolaiv oblasts.
There is a solution that kills two birds with one stone :
France, UK, the Balts, the Scandies and all other like-minded nations MUST form a coalition and put troops on the ground and planes in the air over those two oblasts.
First it frees off more Ukrainian troops for the frontline and second, it will make putler realise that his plan to cut Ukraine off from the Black Sea will not be achieved.
Ever.
Don’t fuck with the people of Odesa!
This article is a nice reminder but the Filth has been talking about securing a “land bridge” across beautiful Ukraine to Transnistria at least since 2014.
“Some NATO leaders fear that the situation on the front could seriously deteriorate by the fall. ”
Some NATO leaders also thought Ukraine would fold in 3 weeks.
