“Putin is a well known boldface liar”: Republican criticizes Trump’s statement

30.12.2025

In the United States, President Donald Trump has been criticized for his response to Ukraine’s alleged attack on the Russian dictator’s residence. US House of Representatives Representative Don Bacon from Nebraska called Vladimir Putin a well-known boldface liar.

The Republican wrote about this on his page on the social network X. Bacon emphasized that Trump and his team should first establish the facts, and then comment on the situation and blame Kyiv.

“President Trump and his team should first find out the facts before accusing anyone. Putin is a well-known bold face liar,” the politician noted.

It is worth noting that Bacon, who is retiring at the end of this Congress,
has repeatedly criticized Trump’s approach to foreign policy issues, particularly the war between Russia and Ukraine.

What preceded

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has threatened to respond to an alleged strike by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on Vladimir Putin’s residence.

President Volodymyr Zelensky has already reacted to this Kremlin fabrication. He stressed that Ukraine perceives this as a signal of potential pressure from the aggressor country and preparation for new strikes.

Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga also commented on the fake enemy. He emphasized that this story was fabricated with only one purpose:  to create a pretext and false justification for further Russian attacks on Ukraine, as well as to undermine and obstruct the peace process.

Meanwhile, Donald Trump also spoke out about the Russian-made “shelling.” A journalist asked if the incident could derail peace talks. Trump did not give a direct answer, saying: “I don’t like it. It’s not good.”

He rebuked Ukraine: ” It’s one thing to be offended, it’s another thing entirely to attack his house. Now is not the best time to do any of that.”

To another question about the veracity of Russia’s claims, Trump replied: ” We’ll find out. I mean, you’re saying that maybe there wasn’t an attack. That’s also possible, I guess. But ‘President’ Putin told me this morning that there was.”

We wrote that on December 29, Trump had another phone conversation with Russian dictator Putin. The White House called it “positive.”

As OBOZ.UA reported, Ukrainian drones were technically unlikely to reach the residence of Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin in Valdai (Novgorod region of the Russian Federation) due to the huge concentration of air defense. In addition, residents of the region did not hear any explosions on the night of December 29 .

Taco was a taco, is a taco, and always will be a taco. Taco is also the best head giver that the little moscovian rat ever had. Orban and Fico are dirt by comparison. This incident proves it once again.
And a certain Taco fanboy, whom I won’t mention, but with the initials RSM, who always tries to anger me with a certain fake medical condition, might as well forget it. It doesn’t work on me.
