“Putin does not want to take over all of Europe”: Witkoff made a statement before the talks in Saudi Arabia

Trump’s special representative made a number of statements before talks with Ukraine in Saudi Arabia.

Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin has no goal of taking over all of Europe, said US President Donald Trump’s special envoy Steve Witkoff . According to him, it is not worth talking about the war in Ukraine as a situation similar to 1939-1945.

“Putin doesn’t want to take over all of Europe, the situation is much different from World War II,” he said on Fox News , reiterating that he believes Putin and his “desire for peace.”

So Witkoff expressed optimism before the start of negotiations with Russia and Ukraine on March 23-24 in Saudi Arabia.
