The Russian dictator repeated his demands for a peace treaty.
Ukraine refuses to capitulate and hand over its territory to Russia only because it would have to lift martial law and hold elections. This statement was made by Russian dictator Vladimir Putin at a briefing after a meeting with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban.
Thus, Putin repeated his earlier demand that Ukraine hand over to Russia the Zaporizhzhya, Kherson, Luhansk and Donetsk regions, which Russian troops have been unable to seize by force for more than two years.
“Our peace initiative was presented quite recently (…) We are talking about the complete withdrawal of all Ukrainian troops from the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, from the Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions. There are other conditions. But this is a subject for a fairly detailed consideration in the course of possible joint work,” he said.
The Russian dictator explained Ukraine’s refusal to comply with the Russian ultimatum not by the wildness of the conditions put forward, but by very peculiar reasons.
“In my opinion, the Kyiv regime does not allow the very idea of ending military actions also because in this case the pretext for extending martial law disappears. And if martial law has to be lifted, then it will be necessary to hold elections, which were not held on time,” Putin said.

Putler is doing a lot of whining lately. He demands Ukraine to be demilitarized, which is not going to happen. Quite the opposite is happening, Ukraine is now the most militarized country in the world. If this war criminal thinks Ukraine are going to demilitarize before any ceasefire, he is living in cloud cuckoo land. Even a 5 year old wouldn’t agree to terms like that, never mind give up their own territory in the process.
It is quite absurd to demand a foreign country remove their troops and be occupied by a war criminal. Yeah, cloud cuckoo for sure.
Of course we all know if Ukraine does what putler wants, the full scale invasion will return the next day.
