Powerful explosions rocked Kyiv: what is known

Klitschko reported on the work of air defense forces.

Russian occupiers are once again attacking Ukraine with attack drones. Powerful explosions thundered in Kyiv at about 11:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 17.

“Explosions on the left bank of the capital. Air defense forces are working,” said the capital’s mayor Vitali Klitschko.

It is worth noting that at about 22:50 the Ukrainian Air Force reported the movement of UAVs in the direction of Kyiv from the eastern side. Also, enemy drones were recorded on the border of the Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions. They were flying south towards the Dnipro.

Updated 23:13: In Darnitsky district, according to preliminary information, a fire broke out between a residential building and an educational institution. Units are being sent to the scene, Vitali Klitschko reported .

Meanwhile, the KGVA clarified that debris had been preliminarily recorded there. Information about possible damage or casualties is being clarified.
