Ex-president Petro Poroshenko said that in 2014 he agreed with Russian President Vladimir Putin on the export of cash from the National Bank from the occupied Crimea.

Poroshenko stated this at a meeting of the Kiev Court of Appeal, which is now considering the petition of his defenders, as well as the prosecution for a measure of restraint for the ex-president, chosen by the Pechersky District Court of Kiev.

“Yes, I gave direct instructions on the movement of cash across the line of contact with the occupied territories. Moreover, I gave the head of the National Bank, the Minister of Internal Affairs and the head of the SBU. in 2014.
