Archpriest and host of the Tsargrad propaganda channel Andrei Tkachev accused Belgorod residents of not praying enough during shelling.

He said that the shelling of Belgorod does not stop because the Belgorod residents do not have enough “excitement to pray to Joasaph.”

In the video that Tkachev published, he talks about the shelling of Belgorod. According to him, residents of shelled areas should “see the light” and begin to actively pray and perform religious processions so that “the Lord will have mercy on their cities.”

Andrei Tkachev hosts the program “Holy Truth” on the propaganda channel “Tsargrad”. He also records sermon videos for his own YouTube channel. He has almost 1.8 million subscribers.

Tkachev was born in Lviv, in Ukraine he was a priest of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate. After Euromaidan he moved to Russia. Now Tkachev lives in Moscow and holds the post of rector of the Church of the Life-Giving Trinity in Khokhly. 

He previously stated that “mature horses” with “dilated pupils” who spend their nights in nightclubs should be mobilized to the front. 

According to him, military commissars need to raid nightclubs in major cities, and “Moscow alone is enough.”

    If they saw the light, they would realise that the missiles exploding on Belgorod are russian. Why doesn’t this guy get out of his Moscow apartment and go to Belgorod as an example of a good priest?
