The head of the Russian Orthodox Church, Kirill (Vladimir Gundyaev), called for prayers for Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin and promised “eternal life” to Russian soldiers killed in the war in Ukraine.
As reported by Dozhd , in October a book by Patriarch Kirill was published entitled “For Holy Russia: Patriotism and Faith”, which contains appeals to Russians to support Putin, the Kremlin and soldiers who are participating in the war against Ukraine. Kirill calls Putin one of the key figures in the fight against modern “threats” and promises “eternal life” to those killed in the war.
“Kirill calls for prayer for the Russian government, the army and Putin. According to the patriarch, the Russian Orthodox Church needs to “mobilize” together with the country’s military and political forces. Referring to the “Gospel of John,” Kirill promises eternal life to the fallen Russian soldiers: “This is eternal life – and you are going to a feat, giving up your physical life, but remember: you will not perish, you will not die, you will live,” the publication says.
In the book, the aggressor country is described as a “peace-loving state” and an “island of freedom” that protects against the “demonic” nature of the modern world.

I’m not Catholic, but my upbringing was very close. But even according to Catholic standards how is Michael the Archangel classified as a saint? Even he reports to “I AM”. By no other Name can man be saved but by Jesus or in Hebrew Yeshua. Yeshua literally means salvation.

From what I further read saint is from Latin word “sanctus” meaning holy, but his (Michael the Archangel) sainthood is slightly different from Christians throughout history, because he isn’t human.
