Next year, 5-million-strong Norway will provide Ukraine with almost $2.7 billion in aid.

Next year, the Norwegian government intends to finance aid to Ukraine in the total amount of 30 billion Norwegian kroner (about 2.69 billion dollars), the Norwegian publication NRK reports .

The Norwegian government planned to allocate 15 billion kroner for aid to Ukraine in the state budget for 2025, but the opposition demanded that at least 45 billion be allocated, believing that the amount proposed by the government would be insufficient. After a meeting with members of parliament on Tuesday, the government decided to raise spending on aid to Ukraine to 30 billion kroner.

“We want Norway to play a clear and leading role in supporting the Ukrainian resistance fight. Not only militarily, but also civilianly, in order to protect and increase energy capacity and energy supply,” said Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Stjore.

  1. If Trump is relegated as an observer because others support Ukraine, will drive him nuts and may change his tune. I pray.

  2. The Irish Republic has a similar population to Norway, but gives fuck all to Ukraine.
    Norway GDP/capita: $67k
    Ireland GDP/capita : $103k. : cheap bastards!

        • It doesn’t make much sense at all. If Europe falls, so will Ireland. I thought they had more brains than that.

          • Europe will not fall. Even if ruzzia wins this war (which it won’t), it will take at least a generation to try and mount another “special operation”. Also ireland is at the far end of the continent. They see things differently than those directly involved.

            • Well, it’s a safe bet that the runt won’t wait another 25 years to move on from Ukraine. He’s already 72. And, Ireland isn’t a NATO member, so they can’t really count on anyone coming to their rescue, which is possible since mafia land’d navy is still quite large. They are acting stupidly and they have no foresight.
