Only Russian President Vladimir Putin and Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu are directly in favor of continuing a full-scale war with Ukraine.
This was stated by the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Kirill Budanov on the air of one of the Ukrainian channels.
“Big problems have begun within the military-political leadership of Russia. In fact, now there are only two people who absolutely directly advocate the continuation of the war. Everyone else is trying to stop it,” he stressed.
“Two people are absolutely openly in favor of continuing the war – these are Putin and Shoigu. Even the generals of the Russian Federation are mainly opposed,” Budanov added.

During a war there’s lots of propaganda, not just from the invaders, but also Ukraine. That’s why i try to avoid ukrainian and ruSSian agencies as much as possible, to stay clearly in picture.
Not a bad idea. I take Ukrainian news with a grain of salt until proven. I take Russia news with a ship load of salt. Given that Putin and his fascist regime have continually lied about Ukraine and their intentions, I treat all of their news like the propaganda it is.

It doesn’t matter that only two are supposedly in favor. ALL Russians are the criminals. The only one IMHO who is guiltless is the one who puts a bullet in Putin’s head.
If someone in Russia offs the little rodent, and Russian troops withdraw from all Ukraine, including the Donbas and Crimea, I’m willing to forgive them. But only if they turn certain people over for war crimes trials. Shoigu and the General staff is where that can start.
