Explosions were heard in several regions of the Russian Federation on the night of October 19. Residents of Novokuybyshevsk, Samara Region, as well as Orenburg, complained about the “bangs” in the midst of the “unmanned danger” – fires broke out in both cities after the explosions.
Two important enterprises for the Russian Federation were hit by unknown drones: the Novokuibyshev Oil Refinery and the Orenburg Gas Plant. The Russians massively published footage of explosions and fire flares on social media.
Explosions in Orenburg: gas plant attacked
“Unmanned danger” was declared in Orenburg overnight. Residents of the city heard explosions, after which they observed the glow of a fire in the area of the Orenburg Gas Processing Plant.

“In Orenburg, eyewitnesses heard an explosion on the territory of the Gas Plant, and now smoke is rising. This happened during a UAV attack,” writes the Russian publication “VChK-OGPU.”

One of the Russian propaganda forums noted that “several explosions thundered over Orenburg” and “local residents report the work of air defense.”
“According to eyewitnesses, they heard 5-7 loud bangs. Bright flashes were also visible in the sky, and smoke began to appear in one of the areas after the explosions. There has been no official information yet. Earlier, the “Carpet” plan was announced at the local airport – aircraft are not being taken off or landed,” the propagandists complained.

The attack was later confirmed by the governor of the Orenburg region, Yevgeny Solntsev.
Unlike most of his colleagues, he acknowledged the destruction and did not tell tales of “debris.”
“UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine attempted to attack another industrial facility in the region. The infrastructure of the gas plant was partially damaged. As a result of the UAV strike, one of the workshops caught fire. All emergency services were deployed to eliminate the consequences. Fire crews from the Ministry of Emergencies and the RSNS Emergency Response Center are continuing to extinguish the fire. There are no injured employees of the enterprise. The facility does not pose a threat to the settlement,” the official wrote.

The Orenburg Gas Processing Plant is what the Russians themselves call “the world’s largest gas chemical complex.” It belongs to Gazprom. The plant has 9 commercial gas production units, seven sulfur gas production units, and three condensate stabilization units.
Explosions in Novokuibyshevsk: refinery under attack
Russians also complained about explosions and subsequent fires at the Novokuybyshevsk refinery in the Samara region. Videos that appeared online show a huge column of smoke rising above the plant.
“In Novokuybyshevsk, after the drone attack and explosions, eyewitnesses see black smoke coming from the local refinery,” the Cheka-OGPU said.
The Russians also observed the fire itself.

JSC Novokuybyshevsk Oil Refinery is a Russian oil refinery in the Samara region, part of the Rosneft group. The enterprise’s capacity is 8.8 million tons of oil per year.
It produces fuel for all types of transport : automobile, aviation, railway, river and sea vessels, lubricant components, bitumen, coke, and petrochemical products.

Earlier, OBOZ.UA reported that the day before, the “Veskhaima” substation was attacked in Russia, and 7 airports were shut down. The Russians also filmed a lot of video from the scene.

Splendid! Ukraine is doing a good job keeping mafia land burning.
