Despite loud promises to “solve the water supply problem by December,” the occupiers themselves admitted: there will be no water in the taps in Donbas in winter. This is stated in the message of the Center for Countering Disinformation (CCD) under the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.
Thus, Olena Nikitina, a relative and advisor to Donetsk gauleiter Pushylin, said that with the onset of cold weather, they plan to “warm up” the taps on plastic barrels of water with gas burners so that they do not freeze.
“That is, instead of high-quality infrastructure repairs or launching new water pipelines, people are offered dangerous and absurd survival methods. Using open fire to heat plastic tanks looks like a caricature of municipal services. And the fact that representatives of the occupation authorities are seriously planning to introduce such “technologies” speaks volumes about their incompetence – more eloquently than a thousand words,” the Center emphasized.
The Center added that over the years of occupation, the aggressor country of russia has brought the problem of water supply in Donbas to the state of a humanitarian catastrophe.
“The unbearable living conditions created by russia in the TOT humiliate human dignity. But the Kremlin has never cared about this: Moscow treats the residents of Donbas exclusively as a resource that can be exploited for military and political purposes,” the Center summarized.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, a catastrophic situation with water supply has developed in the occupied part of the Donetsk Region. Water from the taps flows once every three days, and Donetsk residents are forced to go to the toilet in a “bag” because there is simply nothing to flush with.

I see no problem. The locals wanted this in 2014, let them suffer.
The people in Donbas are feeling the full impact of ruskie mir.
Yep, and probably 80% of them have central heating, so with no water it also means no heat.
Welcome to ruZZki mir…
