For almost a week, the Russians have not advanced in this direction, says the commander-in-chief.

The Armed Forces managed to stop the advance of Russian troops in the Pokrovsky direction . This was announced by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Oleksandr Syrskyi in an interview with CNN .
He acknowledged that Ukrainian defenses had been under tremendous pressure in the area around Pokrovsk for several weeks. But now the offensive of the aggressor has been stopped here.
“For the past six days, the enemy has not advanced a single meter in the Pokrovsky direction. In other words, our strategy is working,” said Syrskyi.
According to the commander-in-chief, Russia was forced to transfer tens of thousands of its soldiers to the Kursk region, which affected the front in Ukraine.
“We have deprived them of their ability to maneuver and deploy their reinforcements from other directions … and this weakening is certainly felt in other areas. We note that the number of artillery fire, as well as the intensity of the offensive, has decreased,” he said.
