Not all is lost: Dikiy predicted Ukraine’s victory and a catastrophe for Russia

The veteran noted that without “Korean iron” the Russian army would have collapsed faster.

There is no reason to say that Ukraine is in a hopeless situation and will lose the war to Russia in 2025. This opinion was expressed by military expert, ATO veteran Yevgeny Dyky on the air of Novinarnya.

“We are still in a situation where we can not only somehow “weave through,” but we are even capable of winning,” he emphasized.

At the same time, as Dyky noted, he sees prospects for Ukraine’s victory, but it is unlikely to happen in 2025:

“I absolutely see the contours of this victory. I see how Russia is ending, how slowly irreversible processes are taking place there. I also see that in order to realize this optimistic perspective, much needs to be done.”

In his opinion, Russia has a margin of safety, according to the optimistic scenario, of 1.5-2 years.

“It is really running out of steam. Their army is deteriorating every day. Yes, it conquers our territory every day, but it pays such a price that it loses its combat capability and there is no way to restore it quickly enough,” Diky emphasized.

He is sure that North Korean aid in terms of people and equipment is not a panacea for Russia. According to him, it turned out that the North Koreans do not even have basic military training, and the entire DPRK army is “a solid construction battalion”, a free workforce that the state “uses”:

“They know how to dig trenches, but they only held a machine gun when they took the oath. And here drones are flying, electronic warfare systems are working. Things for which there are no words in their language. That’s why they turned out to be fit to die heroically, but completely unfit to carry out combat missions.”

However, Diky also admitted that without “Korean hardware” the Russian army would have collapsed even faster.

“Comrade Kim Jong-un gave the Russians about a year… But the Russian Federation does not have resources for more than 1-1.5 years. This is without even analyzing the situation with the economy in the Russian Federation. 1-1.5 years and then a catastrophe, total defeat,” Dikiy emphasized.
