North Korean drone operators are directing strikes from Russian invaders.

North Korean military units have been deployed to support the Russian occupation army in Ukraine’s Sumy Oblast. Russian occupiers are using them to coordinate attacks on Ukrainian positions.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on the social network Facebook .

“From the Kursk region, these units are conducting reconnaissance operations using unmanned aerial vehicles. They are identifying the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and assisting in adjusting fire on the positions of Ukrainian units in the Sumy region,” the statement noted.

In particular, the Ukrainian Defense Forces recorded conversations between North Korean UAV operators and Russian army personnel.

“North Korean UAV operators adjusted the fire of multiple launch rocket systems on Ukrainian troop positions,” the statement said.

Due to critical personnel losses and the failure of the offensive operation in the Sumy region, the Russian leadership continues to involve North Korean units in active combat operations.

In turn, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will document all established facts of foreign military forces’ involvement in armed aggression. Units involved in aggression against Ukraine will be neutralized in accordance with the laws and regulations of war.
