The occupiers withdrew from the Chernihiv region and there were no shellings of the region last night. The area is returning to normal.
This was announced in a video message by the chairman of the OVA Vyacheslav Chaus.
“The night in Chernihiv and the Chernihiv region was quiet. Thank God, there were no shelling, no new defeats and damage. The orcs are withdrawing from the Chernihiv region,” he said
The head of the regional administration called on all communities in the region to restore the vital activity of settlements.
“Now we must all get together and start active life of those cities that have suffered. First of all, this concerns Chernihiv, because it suffered the most. We are working. Everyone knows his job,” he added.
Chaus once again stressed that despite the departure of the Russian invaders, the region, like the whole of Ukraine, remains in danger due to possible rocket and air attacks.

Recall that today the Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated 28 settlements in the Polessky and Seversk directions. Some of them have been temporarily occupied since the beginning of a full-scale invasion.
