At noon on January 1, Russian terrorists attacked the city of Orihiv , in Zaporizhzhia. As a result, one person died and three others were injured.

Oleksandr Starukh, the head of Zaporizhzhya OVA , announced this in his telegram .

“New Year’s greetings from the Russians arrived in Orihiv at noon. As a result, one person died and three were injured,” the message reads.

Before that, Starukh reported that on New Year’s Day, the Russians sneakily attacked Zaporizhzhia, targeting residential buildings with rockets. There were no fatalities, but 5 people were injured. including a girl born in 2008.

The situation in the Zaporizhzhia region

In part of the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia, the Russian occupiers are threatening local residents with shooting for violating the curfew. And among themselves, the enemy is discussing the imminent counteroffensive of the Armed Forces.

At the same time, the Russian occupiers use schools in the captured territories to influence Ukrainian children. Soon, the invaders plan to open training centers for “teachers” of history and the Russian language in the occupied territories to spread propaganda in schools, the first of which will appear in Berdyansk, Zaporizhzhia region.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine previously reported that on December 22, more than 70 Russian occupiers were wounded in the Zaporizhzhia region. Defense forces destroyed 2 artillery systems with ammunition.
