It is worth noting that the rate of growth of losses of the occupying army began to increase rapidly after the start of the so-called “burialization”.

During this last month of 2022, Ukrainian defenders eliminated a record number of Russian invaders since the beginning of the war. In total, 17,280 “gift packages” for the New Year were sent from Ukraine to Russia by the Armed Forces.

According to the  Strategic Committee of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in December alone, the Russians lost more soldiers than the USSR did in the 10-year Afghanistan war.

At the same time, it is emphasized that the rate of growth of losses of Russian troops began to grow rapidly after the start of mobilization in the Russian Federation. The agency calculated that in October, November and December, the Rashist occupying army lost 47,110 liquidated, which is more than a 50% increase compared to the previous months.

Today, the average rate of “good Russians” is at the level of about 550–560 servicemen per day, while in May 2022 this rate was an average of 240 destroyed occupiers, Strathkom added.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine have powerfully updated Russia’s losses in the war: data as of January 1

According to the General Staff  of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the total combat losses of the enemy since February 24 approximately amounted to about 106 thousand 720 people, of which 760 were destroyed in the past day.

It is noted that the enemy is currently suffering the greatest losses in the Lyman and Bakhmut directions.

A recent ISW report says that Russia does not have a sufficient stockpile of ammunition to support a large-scale offensive. It is noted that the Russians have already exhausted their ammunition reserves in Belarus.
