Turkey fundamentally supports the 10 points of Zelensky’s peace plan, the Turkish leader emphasized.

The war in Ukraine against the Russians continues , and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is ready to bring Ukraine and Russia back to the negotiating table in Istanbul regarding the operation of the Black Sea Grain Corridor.
Erdogan said this during an address to the participants of the “Ukraine-Southeastern Europe” summit in Tirana (Albania), reports the Turkish English-language TV channel Anews. The leader of Turkey emphasized that his country supports the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, and also makes every effort to protect the rights and interests of the Crimean Tatars. Also, Turkey is ready to contribute to the rapid recovery and reconstruction of Ukraine.
“Despite entering the third year of the war and all our efforts, there is not enough progress towards peace. I maintain my vision that diplomacy and dialogue must be given a chance to end the war with a just and lasting peace. It is imperative to use all diplomatic channels to achieve of this goal. In my opinion, joint efforts should be started at least to determine the general parameters of peace. In this regard, we fundamentally support the 10 points of the peace plan of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi,” Erdogan emphasized.
The Turkish president also reminded that his country has taken a leading role in efforts to implement the second point of Zelenskyi’s Peace Formula called “Food Security”.
Erdogan emphasized that it is important to unite both sides for peace initiatives. According to him, the Black Sea Grain Supply Initiative remains on the agenda, but there is a need for rules to ensure the safety of commercial vessels sailing in the Black Sea.
“In this context, we continue our contacts with the United Nations to establish new rules, including security obligations in the Black Sea. In addition, we are ready to resume the negotiation process that we previously launched in Istanbul to build peace “, Erdogan said.

Zelensky’s peace plan is the ukrainian version of Putin’s peace plan: surrender everything and then there will be peace. How realistic still is this?
If allies get their stuff together, and Ukraine holds onto it’s iron will, victory is still possible. Being overly pessimistic is not helpful for the cause. Realistically many things still in motion that can turn things in Ukraine’s favor Sir Mike.
I simply don’t want an entire generation to be wasted on the battlefield while the goals set by Zelenskov can no longer be achieved. I’m not pessimistic but realistic. I don’t want Odesa, Dnipro and Kharkiv to fall, that would hurt me far more than losing what RuSSia already controls, during negotiations. The worse the situation at the front gets for Ukraine the lower the chance the enemy even wants to negotiate. God bless all brave Ukrainian soldiers! 🇺🇦
There is no negotiating with terrorists bend on your destruction. Any pause will just give rashists time to regroup for yet another shot to rape, murder, torture, loot, and destroy towards their goal of enslavement or genocide of all Ukraine. This is what is realistic Sir Mike.
The fighting must not pause during negotiations.
There isn’t a thing you can give to Putin to buy peace. You can’t negotiate with a scum whose goal is your total destruction. It’s either peace with victory, or it’s teh grave. there is no intermediate state.
So, like during a poker game you want to go all in despite you have a shitty hand, do i understand this correctly?
What’s the option, give putler everything he wants, then wait 5 years for him to come back and finish the job? putler has to be defeated now, or Ukraine is finished.
No, a surrender of the occupied territories can only happen in exchange for Ukraine’s instant membershio in Nato, and the peace treaty would stay void until all Nato members approved Ukraine’s membership. My last five cents on this.
Its a job to know what could be best Mike, there are several scenarios as I see them.
Ukraine agrees to lose the currently occupied areas, hoping that will always be the end.
Ukraine agrees to lose the currently occupied areas, hoping that in time, as with Crimea in 1956? moskovia finds it too expensive to maintain and seeks a way in which to ‘gift’ the territories back to Ukraine.
Ukraine agrees to lose the currently occupied areas, hoping that in time Diplomatic measures and World pressure ensure the return of the Territories.
Ukraine agrees to lose the currently occupied areas, hoping that in the future they can be retaken by force, thus making Ukraine the bad guys.
Not for us to say, but my hope is that they can hang on for a while longer until the rest of the so-called friendly Nations realise a quick victory over moskovia is needed and should have been the aim 2 years ago, sending everything required for the task.
With any luck the Chinese will keep them occupied for a few years if they still have the retarded mindset of violence after that.
That’s a realistic assessment of the possible outcomes of a phony peace deal now, RSM! Thanks. 🤨
Oops, sorry, Mason! Though I can read kyrillic, not really fluently, sorry. 😳
“The war in Ukraine against the Russians continues….”
What an odd turn of phrase. Translation error or deliberate? It’s worded as if Ukraine is at war with Russia, rather than the other way round. Ukrainians would surely not use such a phrase unless they are covert putinoid scum?
Erdogan: “we fundamentally support the 10 points of the peace plan of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi…….”
Really? He’s got a funny way of showing it. He he providing a conduit by land and sea for enormous quantities of sanctioned luxury items, fmcg’s, consumer durables, fashion etc to travel via crooked intermediaries, into Russia, via, Georgia, Armenia, Iran, the stans etc.
“The leader of Turkey emphasized that his country supports the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, and also makes every effort to protect the rights and interests of the Crimean Tatars.”
Ok, so why is he talking about the Black Sea grain corridor, which is no longer relevant?
And why is he encouraging a boom in beachfront properties owned by putinaZi scum and hosting RuZZian tourists in his 5* hotels? Ditto for Turkish-occupied Northern Cyprus?
He’s done next to nothing for the Tatars, despite being in power throughout the Crimea occupation. Some Turkish money went into the Tatar battalions formed in 2014, but did not last long.
He’s strongly anti-Assad and isis, but still seems sympathetic to putler. A very untrustworthy demagogue who tries to cover all the bases.
