This is at least the third such successful strike in the last 8 days.The Armed Forces of Ukraine dealt another blow to the formation of Russian soldiers near the front line. As reported by Russian Telegram channels, the occupiers were lined up for the distribution of medals, but the projectile from the HIMARS surface-to-air missile arrived earlier.

The details of the incident were published by the “Spy Dossier” Telegram channel , which often gives inside information about the situation on the Russian side of the front. According to him, the “arrival” took place in the evening of February 27 in the settlement of Olenivka, Donetsk region. It is claimed that the command lined up soldiers of the 155th separate marine brigade of the Russian Armed Forces to reward some of them.

It is claimed that 19 occupants were killed and another 12 wounded as a result of the impact of two HIMARS missiles. It is also reported that the deputy commander of the brigade, Lt. Col. Roman Kozhukhov, Major Oleksandr Abilov, and Captain Nail Shakhmanov were allegedly killed. Brigade commander Mykhailo Gudkov was allegedly wounded.

“The source reports that the command was informed about the operation of an enemy reconnaissance UAV in their area, but ignored this information,” the Telegram channel writes.

Indirectly, this incident is confirmed by the fugitive former Ukrainian deputy Oleg Tsarev and some Z-propagandists.

HIMARS strikes on formations of Russian troops

As UNIAN wrote, the Russian command regularly exposes its soldiers to the strikes of the Armed Forces, arranging formations in the zone of damage of Ukrainian artillery. At least two such incidents have occurred in recent days, with a large number of casualties.

Thus, as a result of a missile attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on February 20 at a training ground in the Donetsk region, at least 68 Russian servicemen of the 36th Guards Motorized Rifle Brigade from Transbaikalia were killed.

Literally the next day, an attack was made on the training ground in the national park “Oleshkivski Pisky” in the Kherson region. According to unofficial information, more than 30 Russian soldiers died there, and another three dozen were wounded.
