Navalny’s team showed hundreds of photos from “Putin’s palace” Interiors are almost exactly the same as 3D visualizations from an investigation released a year ago
Companions of Alexei Navalny released a new investigation dedicated to “Putin’s palace”. In it, they showed several hundred real photographs taken inside the residence in Gelendzhik.
In the original investigation, which came out a year ago, the interiors of the premises were modeled using computer graphics – based on the drawings of the building and furniture catalogs that the filmmakers had.
The authors of the new film noted that in most cases the 3D models shown a year ago coincide with the real interiors of the palace with high accuracy. Navalny’s team did not specify when or how the photographs were taken, only saying that it was before Rossiya 1 aired a report from the residence showing renovations being carried out.
If it seemed to you that in the film we went too far with the interiors, exaggerated and embellished, you were very mistaken. Life, as it happens, exceeded any of our expectations.
