The invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine will be a disaster for the Russian Federation itself.

If Russia goes on an invasion of Ukraine , it will be “a disaster for the whole world,” Deutsche Welle quoted British Prime Minister Boris Johnson as saying .

The official called on the Russian authorities to resolve the conflict through diplomacy.

Johnson also said that his country “entirely and completely” supports the sovereignty of the Ukrainian state.

“Don’t even hesitate, if Russia starts an invasion of Ukraine, in whatever form and on whatever scale, it, in my opinion, will be a disaster not only for Ukraine, but also for Russia,” the prime minister said. .

Earlier, US President Joe Biden said that a large-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine would have catastrophic consequences for the Russian Federation.

The American leader also said that NATO member countries may react to Russia’s “small infiltration” into the Ukrainian state . Under the small penetration, the head of the states meant non-military, paramilitary or cybernetic actions of the Russian side.

Russian aggression against Ukraine – what you need to know

In the spring of 2014, the Russian authorities seized the Ukrainian Crimea and decided to invade part of the territory of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions. The Russian Federation also supported the militants who created the so-called “DPR” and “LPR” in Donbas. A number of Western countries punished Russia with sanctions because of the aggression against Ukraine.

Last autumn, Russia aggravated the situation on the border with our country – transferred a lot of military and equipment. Such actions of the Russian Federation aroused the concern of Ukraine’s Western partners.

In particular, the US and EU countries have threatened Russia with new sanctions in case of aggression against Ukraine . There was information about the possible disconnection of Russia from the international interbank payment system SWIFT.

At the end of November last year, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov, said that there were more than 90 thousand Russian troops on the border of our country, and the Russian Federation was preparing for an invasion from the beginning of 2022 .

Later, on January 19 of this year, President Volodymyr Zelensky tried to reassure the citizens of Ukraine. The head of state said that the  risks of Russian aggression have been there for more than a year, and they have not increased .

  1. ‘The official called on the Russian authorities to resolve the conflict through diplomacy.’

WTF?! RuSSia already invaded Ukraine. What diplomacy? Ukraine needs to have her borders restored to begin with!

    • Yeah, what are the negotiations about? All we’ve heard is what Putin wants and more what Putin wants. He wants complete capitulation and cooperation and offers nothing. He wants a complete reset back to 1987 which is not possible but these tweety birds from the EU and US still give this psychopathic nazi the time of day. Beam me up…….

  2. Britain is the only major European country that is still in possession of its sanity. The other two mouse poops, Germany and France, have lost it long ago. What they are doing is highly dangerous and will eventually lead to disaster.
