Russian anti-war politician Boris Nadezhdin , who was not allowed to participate in the 2024 Russian presidential elections, openly blamed Russian dictator Vladimir Putin for starting the war in Donbass.

In the Russian Federation, presidential elections are scheduled for March 15-17. The Russian Central Election Commission did not include in its list of candidates the only politician who openly advocated ending the war against Ukraine – Boris Nadezhdin.
The formal reason for refusal to be included in the list of candidates is the allegedly too large number of errors in the signatures of citizens that were collected for his nomination for the post of president.
It is worth noting that Russia decided to hold its “elections” in the occupied parts of Donetsk, Lugansk, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. It was reported that “voting” there would begin earlier.

RuSSia took its Crimea in no time with few casualties and zero resistance. Instead of leaving it there Putin ordered a total genocide in Ukraine. Putin is not the smart glorious leader many ruSSians still believe in. He’s a complete idiot.
Anyone will half a brain cell knows that russia invaded Ukraine in 2014, because Putler’s lapdog got chased out of Kyiv, and back to muscovy.
It is thanks to the likes of Merkel and Obama that Ukraine lost Crimea in the process, along with Luhansk and Donetsk. The former rewarding the nazi with a lucrative pipeline deal to hold Europe hostage, to prevent any serious repercussions against Putler.
I don’t think Yanu was Putler’s lapdog. It was him who initiated the Ukraine-EU association agreement. Under his watch ukrainian troops also took part in Nato missions. He broke downe under massive ruSSian threats and bribes. But as a foreigner i will leave it to ukrainian historians.
