Musk called Sikorsky a “drooling imbecile” for calling for Starlink restrictions for Russia

American billionaire and SpaceX founder Elon Musk reacted to the statement of Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski regarding Russia’s use of Starlink satellites in the war against Ukraine and publicly insulted him.

He wrote about this in X, reports Censor.NET .

Sikorsky also shared a report by the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), which notes that Russian forces are increasingly using Starlink satellites to increase the range of BM-35 strike drones.

In response, Musk called Sikorsky a “drooling imbecile,” saying he didn’t realize Starlink’s role in the war.

“This drooling imbecile doesn’t even realize that Starlink is the basis of Ukraine’s military communications ,” Musk wrote.

What preceded it?

As previously reported, Russia is increasingly equipping strike drones with Starlink satellite terminals. This allows drones to maintain control and navigation even in conditions of intense signal jamming.
In turn, SpaceX stated that it does not cooperate with the Russian military and turns off terminals if violations are detected.
