Moscow explained to Trump that it wants recognition of its gains in Ukraine, – ambassador

The Russian Federation demands not only the transfer of unoccupied territories of four regions of Ukraine, but also recognition of these conquests.

Moscow wants its territorial gains in Ukraine to be recognised in a future peace deal. This position has been communicated to Washington, Russia’s ambassador to Britain Andrei Kelin told Sky News .

“We will need a new Ukraine as a neutral, non-nuclear state. We need to recognize the territorial situation. These territories are included in our constitution, and we will continue to insist that all forces of Ukrainian power leave these territories,” he said.

Asked whether he thought the Americans would agree to hand over occupied Ukrainian land to Russia, he said “the Americans actually understand reality.”

According to Kelin, Russia “categorically rules out” the prospect of deploying NATO peacekeepers in Ukraine, as proposed by British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and French President Emmanuel Macron. According to the Russian ambassador, “they have no rules of engagement” and therefore will simply “sit in cities”, which is “pointless”.

At the same time, Kelin considers the proposal for a temporary truce to be a “crazy idea.”

“We will never accept this, and they are well aware of this. We will accept the final version [of the peace agreement] only when we are about to sign it. Until then, everything is very shaky. We are trying to find a solution on the battlefield until the US administration offers something constructive,” he said.

If Ukraine declines this obscene offer, Trumpkov could even intervene militarily on the side of the rat nazi.
