On Wednesday, May 21, the sky over Moscow once again reminded of war – air defenses roared at full blast, “shooting down enemy drones.” Three drones broke into the airspace of the so-called strong state, and as always – the consequences were immediate: the capital’s key airports Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo and Zhukovsky stopped working. Passengers were stuck in terminals without clear information, flights were massively canceled, and debris flew over Moscow.
The mayor of Moscow promptly reported the situation. Sergei Sobyanin acknowledged that drones were flying towards the capital. According to him, air defense forces allegedly managed to destroy them, and rescuers are now collecting the wreckage.
“The air defense forces of the Ministry of Defense repelled the attack of three drones. Emergency services specialists are working at the site of the debris fall,” the mayor said.
Amidst the alarm, Rosaviatsia applied the usual “isolation” scenario: airspace was closed, flights were suspended, no official state of emergency – but actions were taken as in the event of war.
“Temporary restrictions on the reception and release of aircraft have been introduced at Domodedovo, Zhukovsky and Sheremetyevo airports. The restrictions were introduced to ensure the safety of civil aircraft flights , ” the message says.
Later, a vague clarification appeared – departure is possible “by agreement .” That is, the collapse and chaos continue: in the waiting rooms – queues, crowds and a bunch of angry passengers who do not know whether they will reach their destination.
At that time, the streets were a theater of the absurd. Residents of the Moscow region posted videos of drones flying overhead. One of the men addressed the drone with a real fit and obscene language.
As of 5:00 p.m., the mayor of Moscow reported “another drone downing.” Later, it became known that another drone had been shot down over Moscow.
As OBOZ.UA reported, on May 4, the Bryansk region of the Russian Federation complained about the Ukrainian attack. The Russians stated that as a result of it,
the Strela plant in the village of Suzemka, which specializes in the production of radar equipment, was destroyed.

I’m always glad to see the lives of the cockroaches disrupted by THEIR war.
Interesting that moscow residents took video of these drones, yet no air defences are active?
Their anti aircraft can only detect and shoot down passenger airlines, not 120 mph Cessnas at 1500′, therefore no Orclines are flying, they are in the greatest danger…
Right you are. And, they are in danger anyway, even without drone attacks, due to the maintenance issue of their junky aircraft.
Maybe the roaches depend on those videos to find the drones in the first place? 😂
So 3 drones managed to bring moscow to a halt. I wonder how many there really was? No doubt the orcs are claiming there was only 3, because that’s all they managed to shoot down.
I agree. You simply can never trust a word they say.
